Jonathan Ross<\/a> has shed light on his rivalry with fellow TV presenter Graham Norton<\/a> and why he appears to get \u2018bigger\u2019 names.<\/p>\n Across a number of decades now, the pair have cemented their names as two of the UK\u2019s biggest personalities.<\/p>\n Jonathan has fronted\u00a0BBC<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0Friday Night with Jonathan Ross\u00a0(2001\u20132010) and\u00a0ITV<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0The Jonathan Ross Show\u00a0(2011\u2013present), while Graham began The Graham Norton Show in 2007.<\/p>\n Interviewing a host of famous names from all walks of life, whether it be music, film, or politics, each of their hit shows has routinely managed to draw in major audiences.<\/p>\n Now, however, following Jonathan\u2019s move to ITV, there seems to be a clear rivalry brewing.<\/p>\n Asked who gets the \u2018bigger\u2019 names, Jonathan told the Times<\/a>: \u2018He gets American names. And I am not quite sure why that is.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t Discussing viewing figures, the 65-year-old then claimed that while Graham\u2019s are better than his on first viewing, watching back afterwards makes it seem more \u2018even\u2019.<\/p>\n \u2018They are slightly better, but on catch-up, we are about the same. Last week, for example, our show beat the BBC until the news came on,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n \u2018So it\u2019s a healthy show. Well, each of the guests comes from a different lifestyle and have different beliefs, which has caused some friction already<\/a>. <\/p>\n Speaking about the show, Jonathan said: \u2018I believe this experiment will go a small way to healing a fractured Britain; after all, to know is to love.
