industry&#8217;s finest stars and movies from the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>As it currently stands, Michael B Jordan\u2019s latest hit movie, Sinners, leads the way with a record 16 nominations across the board.  <\/p>\n<p>It has broken the record for the most nominations, which was previously held by  All About Eve (1950), Titanic (1997) and La La Land (2016).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" take home the award for his role in Marty Surpreme <\/p>\n<p> | <\/p>\n<p>GETTY <\/p>\n<p>Closing the gap is Leonardo DiCaprio\u2019s One Battle After Another with 13 nominations, while Marty Supreme, Frankenstein and Sentimental Value are next with nine, and Hamnet has eight.<\/p>\n<p>Timothy Chalamet is amongst the stars who are up for an award for his role in Marty Supreme.  <\/p>\n<p>Chalamet will be battling it out against DiCaprio for his role in One Battle After Another, Ethan Hawke for his role on Blue Moon, Mr Jordan in Sinners and Wagner Moura in The Secret Agent.  <\/p>\n<p>However, it seems the actor has already had his chances blown as recent odds have revealed it is not looking good.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"7afde\" the race against Chalamet for his role in Sinners <\/p>\n<p> | <\/p>\n<p>GETTY <\/p>\n<p>Spokesman for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: \u201cTimothee Chalamet looked all set for Oscars glory this weekend, but we have seen a significant shift in the Best Actor market with Michael B. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cJordan shooting to the fore \u2013 the Sinners actor is now even-money to collect his first Oscar, riding a wave of momentum. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cJordan had been trading at double figures for many weeks of this awards season but remarkably now tops the betting, seeing Chalamet drift to 11\/10 having been odds-on. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe market suggests it\u2019s a two-horse race that will be too close to call between Jordan and Chalamet, with the next possible winners Ethan Hawke, Leonardo frontrunner for Best Actress for her role in Hamnet <\/p>\n<p> | <\/p>\n<p>GETTY <\/p>\n<p>Alongside Best Actor, Jessie Buckley is in the top running for Best Actress for her portrayal of Shakespeare&#8217;s wife in Hamnet. <\/p>\n<p>The film premiered at Telluride in August, and has had no serious challenger emerge to threaten Buckley\u2019s dominance. <\/p>\n<p>Critics have praised her portrayal of the role, describing her as a charismatic performer who has been destined for Academy recognition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Standards: <a
