Bruno Fernandes has overtaken David Beckham<\/a> as Manchester United<\/a>‘s most prolific provider of assists in a single Premier League season, with his two against Aston Villa<\/a> taking him to 16 for the 2025\/26 campaign.<\/p>\n Beckham’s club-record tally of 15 assists in the 1999\/00 season was surpassed by Fernandes<\/a> on Sunday as he inspired a 3-1 win for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n “I’m obviously very happy to do that,” Fernandes told MUTV<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Like everyone in their own garden, I tried to do it like Beckham and was doing it. Even if you’re just swinging your arm, [I was doing it] like he used to do it.”<\/p>\n Most PL assists in single season by a Man Utd player<\/p>\n The Portuguese notched his 15th assist of the current campaign when he delivered a pinpoint corner for Casemiro<\/a> to head home in the 53rd minute.
