The singer who brought the contest back to Switzerland this year with \u201cThe Code\u201d revealed their favourites to be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Malta \u2013 Miriana Conte \u2013 \u201cServing\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Italy \u2013 Lucio Corsi \u2013 \u201cVolevo essere un duro\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Switzerland \u2013 Zo\u00eb M\u00eb \u2013 \u201cVoyage\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Ukraine \u2013 Ziferblat \u2013 \u201cBird of Pray\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Austria \u2013 JJ \u2013 \u201cWasted Love\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DJWfEdECtoo\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Nemo won the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 for Switzerland with \u201cThe Code\u201d. This was Switzerland\u2019s third victory in the contest\u2019s history, following Lys Assia in 1956 and C\u00e9line Dion in 1988. The singer is currently in Basel for the competition, earlier this week he held a meet and greet with fans and performed on the cities streets.<\/p>\n<p>The 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Basel, Switzerland on May 13, 15, and 17, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Image source: Daniel Stridh<\/p>\n<p> Switzerland hosted the first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956, a contest that they also won. Lys Assia won the first contest with the song \u201cRefrain\u201d. It wasn\u2019t until 1988 that Switzerland would win the contest again. At the contest in Dublin, it was Celine Dion with \u201cNe partez pas sans moi\u201d who beat the United Kingdom to victory by just 1 point.
