{"id":829938,"date":"2026-03-16T16:46:21","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T16:46:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/829938\/"},"modified":"2026-03-16T16:46:21","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T16:46:21","slug":"chic-framework-2026-30","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/829938\/","title":{"rendered":"CHIC framework 2026-30"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Teams selected for the four-year agreement will have the opportunity to support housing and public sector members of the consortium with programmes ranging from planned maintenance and retrofit to new-build development and building safety compliance across the UK.<\/p>\n<p>The framework is divided into 13 lots covering a range of roles including architecture, building surveying, employers\u2019 agent, quantity surveying, structural and civil engineering, clerk of works, heritage and conservation, stock condition and principal designer services.<\/p>\n<p>According to the brief: \u2018CHIC is seeking to establish a multi-disciplinary consultancy framework that can be accessed by existing and future members of CHIC.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The scope and potential lot structure will cover a wide range of built environment related professional consultancy services comprising but not restricted to Building Surveying services, Contract Administration, Employers Agent, Quantity Surveying services, and Principal Designer and any other roles that may be required to support the delivery of high quality, on time, on budget works.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Support may be required at any project stage from Inception to Post Completion\/In Use and may be in relation to Planned Works Programmes, individual works contracts, or any other projects that may arise during the term.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>CHIC is a Birmingham-based not-for-profit procurement consortium which provides frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems for housing providers and other public bodies across the UK.<\/p>\n<p>The latest framework will cover services from project inception through to post-completion \u2013 providing CHIC members access to specialist advice at every stage of works and asset management cycles.<\/p>\n<p>The framework will offer national coverage and allow call-offs either via direct award or mini-competition, with an unlimited number of suppliers potentially appointed across the 13 lots.<\/p>\n<p>Tenders will be evaluated 50 per cent on quality, 40 per cent on price and 10 per cent on social value, with a maximum 4 per cent framework fee charged to suppliers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competition details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project title<\/strong> CHIC Consultancy Framework 2026\u20132030<br \/><strong>Client<\/strong> Communities &amp;
