Coventry City’s Haji Wright left the field on Saturday with a groin concern<\/p>\n
Frank Lampard has a fresh injury concern from Coventry City<\/a>\u2019s weekend defeat at home to Southampton as the head coach and his players turn their attention to Saturday\u2019s long trip to Swansea.<\/p>\n Haji Wright was due to have a scan after coming off with a groin issue against the Saints, the striker alerting the bench to some discomfort just before missing a chance with a gilt-edged header which he directed straight at the keeper.<\/p>\n He was withdrawn just after the hour, replaced by Ellis Simms who is now on standby to start for the Sky Blues in South Wales this coming weekend.<\/p>\n FOLLOW ON FACEBOOK! <\/strong>Get more Coventry City news and analysis via our FB page<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n \u201cHaji\u2019s got a bit of a sensation in his groin so we\u2019ll have to check that out,\u201d revealed Lampard, when asked if there were any fresh injuries from the 2-1 home loss, during which both Ephron Mason-Clark and Frank Onyeka were the victims of nasty looking tackles on or above the ankle. Onyeka went off in the 77th minute, replaced by Victor Torp, and asked if the pair are OK, the City boss said: \u201cYeah, as far as I know.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, there\u2019s good news regarding Bobby Thomas who has sat out the last three games with a minor calf strain \u2013 the defender making good progress and possibly available to return against the Swans.<\/p>\n Jack Rudoni is also on target for a return and should be available after the international break \u2013 the attacking midfielder having also missed the last three matches with a calf issue.<\/p>\n Providing an update on the two, Lampard said: \u201cYeah, they\u2019re recovering.
