Leeds United<\/a> are reportedly interested in signing Everton<\/a> striker Beto this summer. Daniel Farke\u2019s side plan to splash the cash this summer following their promotion from the Championship, with several Premier League<\/a>-proven stars being eyed. The Whites won the Championship title on the final day of the season last weekend thanks to a last-gasp goal from loanee Manor Solomon that snatched the silverware from Burnley.<\/p>\n

The success came off the back of Leeds selling several of their top players last summer, including Georginio Rutter to Brighton<\/a> and Crysencio Summerville to West Ham<\/a>. Leeds were smart in their recruitment to ensure their big-money sales did not prove damaging, with Ao Tanaka and Joe Rodon among their shrewd signings.<\/p>\n

According to Sky Sports<\/a>, a major spending spree is now on the horizon at Elland Road, with the club having a transfer budget of more than \u00a3100million that they intend on forking out on numerous new acquisitions.<\/p>\n

Everton\u2019s Beto is one of their reported targets following his improved campaign for Everton, who will also be in the market for a new striker this summer. The towering forward has scored seven league goals so far this season, leading the line impressively during the Toffees\u2019 toughest spells.<\/p>\n

It is unclear whether David Moyes would be willing to part ways with the 27-year-old at this stage though, with fellow striker Dominic Calvert-Lewis set to become a free agent at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Leeds are hoping to improve the \u2018spine\u2019 of their squad over the coming months, prioritising a new goalkeeper, centre-back, central-midfielder and centre forward \u2013 and it is claimed that the higher powers at the club are willing to fork out up to \u00a330m on each of those positions.<\/p>\n

Speaking about how the club plan to improve at his side\u2019s open-top bus parade recently, Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe talked up during their open-top bus parade of how the Whites plan on asserting themselves as a top outfit over the coming campaigns.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThis is a journey, this is not the end. We have to keep going, this is what Leeds does.
