A man was left with potentially life-changing injuries after a horror attack in Manchester city centre<\/a>. The victim suffered serious injuries in the assault in the early hours of Wednesday (May 7).<\/p>\n Greater Manchester Police<\/a> said the victim, aged in his 30s, was rushed to hospital from the scene where he remains for treatment.<\/p>\n An investigation into the incident has been launched. Police said it was reported the serious assault occurred shortly after midnight on Dantzig Street, in the city centre.<\/p>\n Join the Manchester Evening News WhatsApp group <\/strong>HERE<\/a><\/p>\n A CCTV image of man police want to speak to has now been issued as detectives believe he could help with the ongoing enquiries.<\/p>\n Detective Constable Phillip Sargeant of Longsight<\/a> CID said: “We are investigating a serious assault which left the victim with serious injuries which he was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains.<\/p>\n “We are following up on a number of lines of enquiry to establish a full timeline of events leading up to this incident.
