Despite having turned pro at 180lbs, the 5ft 8ins Shields will still have an inch and a half height advantage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Shields, 16-0 (3 KOs), of nearby Flint is six years younger than the 36-year-old Daniels, and now holds all four major women\u2019s heavyweight championship titles. The two-time Olympic gold medalist had previously unified titles at 154lbs, 160lbs and 168lbs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Shields draws parallels between Shields-Daniels and Jack Johnson\u2019s 1908 trip to New Zealand\u2019s neighboring country Australia, when he became the first African-American to win the heavyweight championship with a decision win over Tommy Burns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cThis is more than a fight\u2014it\u2019s a defining moment in the evolution of boxing.
