\n During the Brexit vote, Nigel Farage\u2019s mantra of ‘taking back control’ and retaining our ‘sovereignty’ was used in the same way as Donald Trump\u2019s MAGA slogan.\n<\/p>\n
\n Neglecting the fact that when we were in the EU, we were equal partners and very much respected members.\n<\/p>\n
\n Reform would like us to be closer to Trump\u2019s America.\n<\/p>\n
\n The president of the USA does not respect sovereignty or even democracy and is doing his best to involve us in an illegal conflict.\n<\/p>\n
\n The American people should wake up and see that their president is wreaking havoc in the world, and they should, in Nigel\u2019s words, “take back control.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Ed Davey has for a long time urged the Prime Minister to get closer to Europe, and Sir Keir Starmer seems to be doing that.\n<\/p>\n
\n We certainly need to distance ourselves from Trump and realise that, by their very nature, right-wing parties cause division in society.\n<\/p>\n
\n Nigel Farage would like us to be closer to the USA, and if he had his way, we would soon become Trump\u2019s lapdog.\n<\/p>\n
