Last month, during the annual Pok\u00e9mon Day broadcast, The Pok\u00e9mon Company announced the 2005 GameCube role-playing title Pok\u00e9mon XD: Gale of Darkness<\/a> was on the way to Switch 2<\/a> in March.<\/p>\n

Following this news, the successor to Pok\u00e9mon Colosseum<\/a> is now officially available to Switch 2 users with an active Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.<\/p>\n

This game will be followed by Colosseum<\/a> at some point in the future. You can check out the trailer for XD above and below is the official game description and some screenshots from Nintendo’s website:<\/p>\n

Nintendo also notes how you won’t be able to transfer Pok\u00e9mon from Game Boy Advance titles to this version of the title.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon XD: Gale of Darkness was just one of the many game announcements shared during Pok\u00e9mon Day this year.<\/p>\n

One other big surprise was the return of the Game Boy Advance classics Pok\u00e9mon FireRed & LeafGreen<\/a>. Apart from Colosseum, we’re still waiting on Super Mario Sunshine<\/a> for the GameCube library.<\/p>\n
