Luke Humphries will wear a special one-off shirt during Thursday’s Premier League to celebrate Leeds’ promotion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Humphries will honour his beloved Leeds reaching the Premier League<\/a> with a yellow and blue shirt, taking inspiration from their away kit this season.<\/p>\n

Humphries is donning a special Leeds shirt for the Premier League<\/p>\n

In perfect timing, the next edition of the Premier League Darts on Thursday will be in Leeds.<\/p>\n

Speaking to talkSPORT, Humphries said: \u201cIt\u2019s yellow and Leeds inspired. I always like to do a special version, I did one last year that was a retro one.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just feels yellow for Leeds this year, that\u2019s why I went for this one and I\u2019m quite happy with it.”<\/p>\n

In 2024, Humphries gave away his signed match worn shirt with everyone who made a donation to Leeds Hospitals Charity entered into a draw.<\/p>\n

Night 14 of the Premier League comes from the First Direct Arena in Leeds and Humphries is sure to have the crowd behind him.<\/p>\n

There may be one or two fans still celebrating them winning the Championship with 100 points.<\/p>\n

Humphries believes there will be a slightly more relaxed atmosphere at the First Direct Arena.<\/p>\n

Rewind 12 months and Leeds were in the middle of a Championship play-off battle, which they heartbreakingly lost in the final<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe atmosphere was amazing, but there was a bit of anxiety from the fans, maybe because we were in the playoffs,” Humphries said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhereas this year we won the league, there’s been such a great party atmosphere over the last six to seven days. You’ve seen on Monday the incredible scenes with the parade.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I do feel like the whole city of Leeds is in a buzz at the moment. I’m hoping they’re going to bring that on Thursday night and, you know, give me loads of support and I can sort of flourish on it and play well.\u201d<\/p>\n

First up for Humphries will be Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-finals.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s not an easy game for myself,” he added. “I’ve got a great winning record against him, but he’s under a lot of pressure because he’s fighting out for that fourth spot at the moment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m looking pretty decent for the O2 (finals) already. The only pressure on my shoulders will be the fact that obviously I want to do well in Leeds.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut winning that first game is pivotal for me because I just want to give the fans something to cheer about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luke Littler is the betting favourite to win the night, though, fresh off his victory in Birmingham last week.<\/p>\n
