A man’s body has been pulled from the River Clyde in Glasgow.<\/p>\n
Emergency crews<\/a> raced to the Clyde Street area after being alerted to a report of concern for a person at around 6.45am on Wednesday.<\/p>\n Pictures from the scene<\/a> shared by the Record earlier today showed a large area at the Broomielaw<\/a> taped off.<\/p>\n Uniformed officers could be seen standing guard beside the cordon, with a sign warning members of the public that divers<\/a> were in the water.<\/p>\n Police taped off an area in the Broomielaw(Image: Daily Record)<\/p>\n Around six police <\/a>vehicles were seen parked nearby as members of the public gathered on a nearby footbridge.<\/a><\/p>\n Sadly, police have now confirmed that the body of a man was later recovered from the river.<\/p>\n The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.<\/p>\n A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 6.45am on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, we received a report of concern for a person near Clyde Street in Glasgow.<\/p>\n \u201cEmergency services attended and a search was carried out. The body of a man was later recovered from the River Clyde.<\/p>\n \u201cThe death is being treated as unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
