Semi Ajayi says it’s important Hull City learn from the plethora of mistakes that saw them deliver a below-par display at West Brom on Saturday, as the Tigers look to return to winning ways against Sheffield Wednesday.<\/p>\n
City <\/a>welcome the league’s bottom side to the MKM Stadium this weekend in their final outing before the international break, and know they must find a way to overcome the plucky Owls.<\/p>\n Wednesday may have taken just one point from their last 45 available, but City have first-hand experience of just how difficult they can be to overcome, having twice needed to drag themselves level to scramble a 2-2 draw at Hillsborough on Boxing Day.<\/p>\n Since that game in the Steel City, the Owls have taken just two points, but Ajayi knows his side can take nothing for granted and must take care of business.<\/p>\n JOIN US ON FACEBOOK! We can’t drop our levels just because of where they are in the table, because if you do that in this, in this league, you’ll get punished.<\/p>\n “We have to be at the top of our game. We’ll make sure we are. I’m expecting a tough game from them. We’ll be on it, and we’ll be ready, we’ll be ready for what they have to bring.”<\/p>\n While City’s 3-0 loss against Ajayi’s former club was a major setback, the defender says having a full week of training without a midweek game is a benefit, after such a busy period.<\/p>\n “Absolutely, I think that’s the Championship (it’s about bouncing back quickly). You can’t win every game, you’re gonna have ups and downs, you’re gonna have blips and whatnot. This wasn’t our day, but we have to bounce back and make sure that it is our day next week, so that’s what we’ll be looking to do.
