Marc Leonard is predictably coy on his future after a successful loan at Hearts.<\/p>\n

The Birmingham City<\/a> midfielder made the decision to return to the club where he played in his youth after being told he could leave by Chris Davies in January.<\/a><\/p>\n

Hearts are currently top of the Scottish Premiership and trying to hold off Old Firm giants Celtic and Rangers to secure a first top-flight title since 1960.<\/p>\n

Leonard<\/a> has been an ever-present for Hearts since joining and there is already clamour for his loan deal to be made permanent.<\/p>\n

Blues wanted around \u00a31.5million in January to sell Leonard and the 24-year-old is contracted until 2028.<\/p>\n

Asked about the possibility by Edinburgh News,<\/a> Leonard gave a diplomatic response: \u201cNo idea. Look, at the moment, you\u2019ll get this answer everywhere: I\u2019ve got a few years left at Birmingham<\/a>, and that\u2019s my focus, so I\u2019ll stick with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hearts boss Derek McInnes has given Leonard the regular football that he craved.<\/p>\n

Leonard played a supporting role for Blues in the first half of the Championship season, making only five starts, but it\u2019s been a different story up in Scotland.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always back myself when I play,\u201d he added. \u201cI know I can bring something to the team. I\u2019m really glad the feedback has been good because it\u2019s a club that means a lot to me. Coming back, I had a lot of nerves and emotions, so I\u2019m glad it\u2019s gone well so far.\u201d<\/p>\n
