Flying this time in and wasn’t far away again at Bendigo last time. He’s hard-fit for this and has drawn to have the perfect run at Caulfield.<\/p>\n

Reset The Jazz led and gave a great sight at Mornington second-up from a long spell. He’ll be fitter again and should be hard to run down.<\/p>\n

RACE 1: 12:10PM NEXT PAYMENTS HANDICAP (1100m)<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

Expecting a good track at Caulfield on Saturday. LATIN BOSS<\/a> (3) is improving with racing this time in and could make it two wins in a row. SALTY PEARL<\/a> (9) ran on well at Bendigo first-up and will be much fitter for this. PRINCE TYCOON<\/a> (8) has trialled well and should be prominent from the perfect draw. ALZARO<\/a> (10) finished off well on debut and will be better for the experience.<\/p>\n

FERNAO<\/a> (6) is racing in consistent form and can go one better than his narrow defeat at Flemington. GOLDEN CRUSADER<\/a> (2) tried hard behind the in-form Immediacy at Mornington and has a good 2400m record. ZIRYAB<\/a> (1) was solid in the Warrnambool Cup and gets back onto firmer footing. DIWALI<\/a> (9) won easily at Moe and could sneak a place in this.<\/p>\n

One of the harder races on the card but MR BUSTER<\/a> (19) could be ready to win after two excellent efforts over shorter trips this time in. FORTUNE<\/a> (5) has drawn poorly but his last run at Caulfield was good and could show up with a little bit of luck. PREFERENTIAL<\/a> (16) wasn’t disgraced over a longer trip at Flemington and has drawn well. OFF HIS ROCA<\/a> (13) was sound with a big weight at Warrnambool and will be fitter.<\/p>\n

RACE 4: 1:50PM ASSURED INSURANCE BROKERS HANDICAP (1400m)<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

Some promising types engaged here but MADIYYA<\/a> (6) could continue to improve again after her impressive maiden win at Sale second-up. STORM SEASON<\/a> (4) improved when ridden closer at Mornington and should go well again. ALL BUSINESS<\/a> (11) ran on for a strong win at Pakenham and could build on that. AHHA AHHA<\/a> (10) is racing well and could measure up.<\/p>\n

SIRIUS STATEMENT<\/a> (8) is racing in super form and could measure up to this harder assignment. AVEBURY<\/a> (5) hasn’t been far away in two runs this time in and has a good 1400m record. EXTREME VIRTUE<\/a> (6) raced in great form last time in and has trialled well. GRID GIRL<\/a> (10) wasn’t far away at Geelong and likes 1400m.<\/p>\n

MARY ELIZA<\/a> (11) didn’t have the best of luck at Mornington when resuming but will be much fitter for this. FAUCI<\/a> (13) charged home to win his maiden at Cranbourne second-up and could improve again. MUIRFIELD<\/a> (14) tried hard in a small field at Sandown and will be fitter again. IN HER EYES<\/a> (9) worked home solidly at Flemington and won’t be far away.<\/p>\n

RESET THE JAZZ<\/a> (7) improved significantly when run down late at Mornington second-up and should have every chance here. ANGRY SKIES<\/a> (5) was too good in the Warracknabeal Cup and can run well again. TOO MUCH CAVIAR<\/a> (6) will be much fitter for his honest first-up run at Flemington. AMBASSADORIAL<\/a> (9) will be fitter for two excellent efforts for new trainer Alex Rae.<\/p>\n

Another hard race but happy to have something each-way on the former Singapore galloper LIM’S SALTORO<\/a> (5), who has a good record and has trialled well. WAR MACHINE<\/a> (8) has drawn poorly but drops in class on a strong first-up second. REGAL VOW<\/a> (13) is on the fresh side but should be finishing strongly. ELOUYOU<\/a> (15) has impressed on soft track at his last two runs and has drawn well.<\/p>\n

Big field to finish but PIVOT CITY<\/a> (9) is racing in terrific form and has drawn to have the perfect run. LAA DE SHA<\/a> (15) steps up a level in class but was close-up at Mornington and will be fitter. OH TOO GOOD<\/a> (3) has drawn wide but is a talented type while WINNASEDGE<\/a> (5) drops in class after a good effort in Adelaide.<\/p>\n
