{"id":838969,"date":"2026-03-20T18:26:17","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T18:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/838969\/"},"modified":"2026-03-20T18:26:17","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T18:26:17","slug":"sixth-meeting-of-the-digital-markets-act-high-level-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/838969\/","title":{"rendered":"Sixth meeting of the Digital Markets Act High-Level Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, the <strong>High-Level Group on the Digital Markets Act\u00a0<\/strong>(High-Level Group) successfully concluded its sixth Plenary meeting in Brussels, with a focus on advancing cooperation in EU digital regulations.\u00a0The High-Level Group invited Professors Vicky Robertson, Orla Lynskey, and Belle Beems, who shared their expertise and insights on the future of digital regulation and the coordination between regulatory authorities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The High-Level Group also exchanged updates on DMA enforcement actions and investigations, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud and on the application of other regulatory actions by national authorities concerning undertakings designated as gatekeepers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Overall, today\u2019s meeting reflected the High-Level Group&#8217;s collective priorities, which focus on driving tangible market changes through application of the DMA and other EU digital rules. The High-Level Group also discussed its working methods and how to effectively leverage national authorities&#8217; expertise, building on lessons learned from the enforcement of the Digital Services Act (DSA).<\/p>\n<p>By facilitating collaboration across regulators with digital expertise, the High-Level Group aims to ensure coherent and effective implementation of EU digital frameworks, ultimately supporting innovation and fairness in the digital landscape.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The DMA aims to ensure contestable and fair markets in the digital sector.
