The Fischer Residence sits above the street on a hillside parcel in Silver Lake, its post-and-beam structure remaining closely aligned with the original design by Los Angeles architect Eugene Weston. Currently housing its fourth owners, the house is offered with much of the material palette intact: wood framing, expanses of glazing, terrazzo and cork. Set on nearly half an acre, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence occupies a level platform above the road, giving the interiors both privacy and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. Large panes of glass frame shifting views across the city and garden, drawing daylight deep into the living spaces throughout the day.
