Spider-Man<\/a> villain Jon Bernthal has said action scenes shot in Scotland for the latest instalment of the Marvel<\/a> franchise are some of the best ever filmed.<\/p>\n The star reprises his role as brutal antihero Punisher<\/a> for upcoming movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day,<\/a> which brought Holywood to Scotland<\/a> in August.<\/p>\n Huge crowds gathered to watch Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker<\/a>, performing aerial stunts amid explosions<\/a> and NYPD <\/a>car crashes<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively to the Sunday Mail Bernthal,<\/a> 49, said: \u201cThe scenes we filmed in Scotland are the best action scenes I have ever been a part of, for me they are some of the best action scenes in any superhero movie ever.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously this is a Marvel movie and I am limited in how much I can share – but there is a confrontation between Spiderman <\/a>and The Punisher on the streets of Glasgow<\/a> that fans are not going to want to miss.<\/p>\n \u201cThere has been a lot of superhero filming in Scotland and from my experience it\u2019s not hard to work out why. As an actor it gives a real authenticity to what you are doing.\u201d<\/p>\n The Punisher – aka Frank Castle<\/a> – also revealed what it was like to work with London-born Holland, 29, on the set.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cWorking with Tom is always a pleasure. People see these great movies he puts out, but what they don\u2019t see is his drive. These movies, these incredible scenes, they don\u2019t just happen.
