The girlfriend of a devoted dad-of-two who was tragically killed in a collision in Birmingham<\/a> has paid tribute saying “he put everyone first.”<\/p>\n

Lee Bowden died after his car went into a tree on Ridgacre Road in Quinton<\/a>, around 12.15am on Saturday (March 21), leaving his family and friends devastated.<\/p>\n

His loving girlfriend Amelia Brookes was travelling with him and was injured but later discharged from hospital.<\/p>\n

Today, Amelia, 18, paid heartfelt tribute to Lee, who was 27 and said to live in Bilston.<\/p>\n

She said: “He was the love of my life and made me and everyone in his life so happy.<\/p>\n

“He always put everyone else first and anyone that knew him would agree his heart was so pure.”<\/p>\n

Heartbroken mourners gathered at at the tree to lay flowers and remember Lee.<\/p>\n

One bouquet had a card attached from his two daughters which read “I love you so much daddy. Love, your beautiful girls, Ella and Millie.”<\/p>\n

His friend Gabby Marks, 24, from Shard End, said: “He was very loving towards his kids, he always put them first.<\/p>\n

“He was there to lean on when you were upset.<\/p>\n

“He was an outgoing person and he loved his girlfriend Amelia.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, West Midlands Police<\/a> are appealing to anyone with footage of the incident to contact them.<\/p>\n

The force said: “We’re carrying out enquiries to establish exactly what happened and we’d ask anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage to contact us.<\/p>\n
