Iwo Baraniewski met the media Saturday after his win over Austen Lane at UFC\u00a0Fight Night 270.<\/p>\n

Baraniewski (8-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) needed only 28 seconds to knock out Lane (13-8 MMA, 1-5 UFC) on the main card at\u00a0The O2 in\u00a0London. Baraniewski was one of the biggest favorites on the card.<\/p>\n

With the finish, Baraniewski picked up his second UFC bonus in as many fights \u2013\u00a0and this one was worth twice as much as his December 89-second KO of Ibo Aslan at UFC 323. The 27-year-old Polish fighter has all his pro wins in the first round. His DWCS fight to earn a contract took just 20 seconds.<\/p>\n

Baraniewski said training for Lane, who is 6 inches taller than him, meant spreading things around and getting reps in with bigger light heavyweights than him \u2013\u00a0including a former champion.<\/p>\n

“Preparation was very hard. I trained in three clubs: My club, a club in Bosnia, and a club in Warsaw, I sparred with Jan Blachowicz and Roman Dolidze, who fought right before me. So preparation was very hard, and I’m very happy with it. For me, it was very good experience. I learned new moves for my game.<\/p>\n

“I’ll be waiting for a contract. I’ll say yes to everybody.”<\/p>\n
