This morning France kicked off the annual OGAE Poll and point allocations for Eurovision 2026! Australia is off to a flying start receiving seven points from the French locals. <\/p>\n
Each year the OGAE Eurovision fan clubs from across the world vote for their favourite Eurovision songs ahead of the Contest.<\/p>\n
The clubs are part of Organisation G\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Amateurs de l’Eurovision (OGAE) International who each year conduct a pre-Eurovision Song Contest poll. Every national club casts a vote from all entries participating, using the same scoring system as the one at Eurovision.<\/p>\n
France marked the first country to reveal their votes so far in this year’s poll with dozens left in the lead up to Vienna 2026. OGAE International typically begins to reveal results in April; this year, OGAE France has given us a taste early<\/strong><\/a>! <\/strong><\/p>\n France’s voting is as follows –<\/strong><\/p>\n 12 points – Finland<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 10 points – Denmark<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 8 points – Cyprus<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 7 points – AUSTRALIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n 6 points – Greece<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 5 points – Italy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 4 points – Sweden<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 3 points – Malta<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 2 points – Albania<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 1 point – Israel<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n After 1 country has voted, the Top 5 as of 23 March 2026 are:<\/p>\n Finland – 12 points<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Denmark – 10 points<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Cyprus – 8 points<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Australia – 7 points<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Greece – 6 points<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n How does the OGAE poll work?<\/strong><\/p>\n Within each club, the act that receives the most votes gets 12 points, the second most receives 10 points, and then 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 point for the remaining acts in descending order of popularity.
