{"id":844888,"date":"2026-03-23T12:22:16","date_gmt":"2026-03-23T12:22:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/844888\/"},"modified":"2026-03-23T12:22:16","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T12:22:16","slug":"marbella-design-art-fair-2026-the-costa-del-sol-becomes-spains-design-capital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/844888\/","title":{"rendered":"Marbella Design &#038; Art Fair 2026: the Costa del Sol becomes Spain\u2019s design capital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"v-mdl-ath__fig-a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.diariosur.es\/autor\/jose-carlos-garcia-7290.html\" title=\"Jos\u00e9 Carlos Garc\u00eda\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"v-mdl-ath__img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/autor-7290-foto-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Jos\u00e9 Carlos Garc\u00eda\"\/><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"v-mdl-ath__p v-mdl-ath__p--6\">\nMonday, 23 March 2026, 13:18<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">The Marbella Design &amp; Art Fair has once again transformed the town into the national hub for high-end interiors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">Hosted at the Adolfo Su\u00e1rez Congress Centre until 29 March, the eighth edition of the event showcases 30 exhibition areas and nearly 100 brands, complemented by a full programme of professional talks and presentations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">During a visit to the fair alongside organiser Alejandro Zayas, Marbella Mayor \u00c1ngeles Mu\u00f1oz praised the event for &#8220;consolidating its position as a benchmark for the sector&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">Highlighting the calibre of the exhibits, the mayor thanked the organisers for their commitment to the municipality, noting that the fair &#8220;presents Marbella as a space open to art and design&#8221; and brings world-class products to the local public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">Zayas emphasised the event&#8217;s national reach, pointing out that most participants travel from outside Andaluc\u00eda. &#8220;They choose Marbella because of its market potential and the significant growth the city has seen in recent years,&#8221; he explained.&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">This edition of the fair has larger exhibition spaces and around a hundred brands, as well as design areas that can be used by the public such as the auditorium, the restaurant and the terrace, where presentations and activities will be held during the days of the event.<\/p>\n<p>International benchmarks<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">This year\u2019s layout features larger exhibition spaces and functional design zones, including a restaurant, terrace, and a dedicated auditorium.A major highlight this Friday was the debut of premium German appliance brand Miele. For their first appearance at the fair, they unveiled &#8216;Timeless Design&#8217;, an installation by interior designer Helena Rocha.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">The showcase features Miele\u2019s new integrated collection in a &#8216;Pearl Beige&#8217; finish, incorporating surfaces by Cosentino &#8211; a global leader in architectural surfaces &#8211; to create a dialogue between technology and interior architecture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-cnt-m__t\">\nA fusion of tech and art in Marbella\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-cmp-flg__t\">\nBeyond Miele and Cosentino, the fair hosts a prestigious roster of international firms across design, technology, and lifestyle, including:\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">Renowned interior designers such as Marisa Gallo, Nina Dubarry, and Silvia Trigueros are also present, creating exclusive spaces that explore new ways of living through the interplay of light, materials, and architecture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-p\">The experience is rounded off by contemporary galleries and artists, including Anna Burko, Anna Westerlund, and Excellence Art Gallery.
