Mohamed Salah<\/a> is already confirmed to be leaving the Reds, with his impending exit announced on Monday night<\/a>. The legendary winger will depart after nine years at Anfield, having won almost every available trophy during his time with the club.<\/p>\n Salah won’t be the only player to leave at the end of the season, though. He could be joined by a number of his team-mates with Liverpool set to enter a transitional period before the 2026\/27 campaign begins. Some players are coming to the end of their contracts, while others could seek moves away in order to gain more minutes or try new challenges.<\/p>\n Express Sport looks at eight Liverpool stars who could leave the club alongside Salah…<\/strong><\/p>\n Ibrahima Konate<\/p>\n It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Konate walk away from Anfield when the season draws to a close. He is only contracted until the summer and is yet to sign a new deal, with the possibility of an exit growing more likely by the day.<\/p>\n The defender has been linked with Real Madrid for some time now, but it remains to be seen where he would go should he leave Liverpool on a free transfer.<\/p>\n Wataru Endo<\/p>\n The versatile midfielder remains tied down until 2027 but may decide to pursue a move elsewhere, given that he has only made eight Premier League appearances so far this season.<\/p>\n He will only have a year left on his deal in the summer, meaning Liverpool will face a dilemma over whether to sell him or risk losing him for nothing 12 months later.<\/p>\n Curtis Jones<\/p>\n The local lad, who was linked with a move to Serie A in January, could also wave goodbye to his boyhood club in search of more playing time.<\/p>\n Reports have suggested that Juventus and Inter Milan would be interested in signing the 25-year-old if he is made available for a summer transfer.<\/p>\n Joe Gomez<\/p>\n Gomez has struggled with injuries over the last few years and has rarely been a starter when fit. As such, it wouldn’t be a huge shock if he expresses a desire to move on at the end of the season.<\/p>\n However, with Konate’s contract running down, the Reds may decide to keep him as defensive cover even if they sign another centre-back.<\/p>\n Salah’s impending exit was confirmed by the Reds on Monday night (Image: Getty)Federico Chiesa<\/p>\n Chiesa has failed to earn the trust of Arne Slot in his two seasons with the team and could move on to pastures new at the end of the season.<\/p>\n A return to his native Italy would be the most likely route for the 28-year-old. Juventus were reportedly interested in January and could revive their pursuit when the transfer window re-opens.<\/p>\n Andy Robertson<\/p>\n A surprise move to Tottenham nearly went ahead in January, but it fell through at the eleventh hour when Liverpool decided to pull the plug on the deal.<\/p>\n At the time, Robertson had six months remaining on his contract and could leave on a free transfer in the summer, having been replaced by Milos Kerkez as the Reds’ starting left-back.<\/p>\n Freddie Woodman<\/p>\n Woodman is also coming to the end of his current deal at Liverpool but the Reds have the option to extend his contract by a further 12 months.<\/p>\n They could well decide to trigger that clause, given the Englishman’s importance to maintaining the number of homegrown players in their squad.<\/p>\n Rhys Williams<\/p>\n The forgotten defender has no future at Liverpool and probably won’t play for them again, having spent the last few seasons on loan at clubs in the lower leagues and in Scotland.<\/p>\n His contract will expire in the summer and it’s unlikely that he’ll be offered an extension, given that he is clearly not needed at Anfield.<\/p>\n![\"Salah's](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/liverpool-england-mohamed-salah-of-liverpool-smiles-during-the-uefa-champions-league-2025-26-6822023.jpeg\" "\\"Salah's")
