Complete with stunning yet organic-feeling cinematography (helped along by the breathtaking filming locations of northern Norway), this eerie drama – based on a true story by American author David Vann – looks at the complexities of separated family dynamics and how letting go doesn\u2019t always mean moving on.\u00a0 \n<\/p>\n

Absent father Tom (Swann Arlaud) attempts to rekindle his relationship with teenage son Roy (Woody Norman) by embarking on a year-long bonding trip at a remote cabin in Norway, going back to basics and embracing every element thrown at them – both with the passing of the seasons and through navigating their uncertain futures together.\u00a0 \n<\/p>\n
