A teenage boy was stabbed in the chest in a horror attack at the Manchester Arndale car park on Wednesday (May 7).<\/p>\n
Police and paramedics raced to the scene to reports of the stabbing in the city centre at around 6pm. They found the victim, aged 17, with a stab wound to his chest.<\/p>\n
He was rushed to hospital with injuries that were described as serious but non life-threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n
Join the Manchester Evening News WhatsApp group <\/strong>HERE<\/a><\/p>\n Police patrols in the area surrounding the Arndale have been increased, with witnesses or anyone with information urged to contact officers immediately.<\/p>\n In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police<\/a> added: “Officers from the Town Hall have been deployed to the area and will be patrolling the Arndale and the car park during the course of the day to provide reassurance.<\/p>\n Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting log 2890 \u2013 07\/05\/25.
