If there’s one candidate who has repeatedly emerged as a fan favourite<\/a> on social media during this year’s run of The Apprentice<\/a>, it’s Karishma Vijay. But after a couple of gaffes in this week’s teleshopping task, she had fans “worried” that she might have been heading for a premature exit.<\/p>\n

Luckily, her team won the challenge and sailed through to next week after their rivals performed markedly worse – but can she pull it back?<\/p>\n

Whilst attempting to sell products on a home shopping channel, Karishma and her teammate Lawrence Rosenberg failed to sell any of the rings they were passionate about, and they also appeared to struggle with communication when they took a turn in the directors’ chairs.<\/p>\n

Taking to social media site X, one viewer said<\/a>: “Karishma why did you let me down” alongside two crying emojis. Another worried<\/a>: “no this can\u2019t be karishma\u2019s downfall”.<\/p>\n

“Karishma dropped the ball for the first time,” said a third<\/a> viewer; while someone else remarked<\/a>: “This is Karishma’s only f**k up in the process so far. If she gets fired then I won\u2019t be watching the rest of the series.”<\/p>\n

Fortunately she got through, and apart from tonight’s missteps, she remains many fans’ easy frontrunner to win<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“How has Karishma not already won the show?” asked one<\/a> viewer; while another<\/a> said: “Karishma all day long. She\u2019s the only one that seems to be on the ball.”<\/p>\n

In the end, tonight saw a double firing, with Conor Galvin and Levi Hague shown the door by Lord Alan Sugar. Picking out his winner, Conor said afterwards: “If Rothna doesn’t win The Apprentice I will be shocked. She’s brilliant. She’s amazing. She is just so emotionally intelligent. <\/p>\n

“She was the backbone of the house and everyone adored her. She is so astute, she is so clever, she is so kind. She’s so aware. I just think she is a beacon of light and has really been a standout in the process so far.”<\/p>\n

Levi, on the other hand, said: “Dan. He’s calm, he’s intelligent and he thinks before he speaks. I think he is a bit like me and he sees things in business that other people don’t see.”<\/p>\n
