Putin, for his part, has been waging a destructive war on Ukraine for more than a decade, and upended Europe’s established security architecture with his full-scale invasion in February 2022. NATO chief Mark Rutte<\/a> \u2014 and U.S. intelligence officials<\/a> \u2014 have also warned about the risk of Russia placing nuclear weapons in space. <\/p>\n
