According to organisers &#8220;several thousands&#8221; will flock to the Capital to rally to break up the UK, <a aria-label=\"ahead of the Holyrood Election.Link opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk\/news\/politics\/stage-one-tactical-voting-guide-36926904\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">ahead of the Holyrood Election.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Since being elected SNP leader, Mr Swinney has not attended any Scexit march <a aria-label=\"and is doing so now, coincidentally just six weeks before Scots head to the polls.Link opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk\/news\/politics\/john-swinney-prioritises-breaking-up-36811279\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">and is doing so now, coincidentally just six weeks before Scots head to the polls.<\/a> He is trying to persuade people that a majority win for his party will lead to the UK Government granting a second referendum, even though he has no evidence for this.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The annual Believe in Scotland march will go ahead, <a aria-label=\"organised by failed businessman Gordon MacIntyre-KempLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk\/news\/politics\/man-behind-new-scexit-fundraising-28499307\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">organised by failed businessman Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp<\/a>, who placed himself higher on the speaker list than Hollywood actor Brian Cox. It will be hosted by presenter Alistair Heather, who used to work for ousted MP John Nicolson, and has fronted taxpayer-funded ad campaigns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Humza Yousaf&#8217;s good friend, human rights lawyer Aamer Anwar, will also speak, alongside musician Kevin Gore and &#8220;Scots Scriever&#8221; Taylor Dyson. Roads closed from 11am until 1.30pm include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"UnorderedList_unordered-list__gzblI\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"unordered-list\">\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">St Giles Street<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Lawnmarket &#8211; from George IV Bridge to High Street<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">High Street &#8211; from Lawnmarket to North Bridge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">More road closures will take place between 11.15am and 3pm. Services 15, 26, 44, 106, 113, 124, X4, X5, and X7 will all be diverted via Leith Street, Leith Street Gyratory and London Road in both directions. Service 35 buses, between Easter Road and South Bridge, will be diverted via London Road, Leith Street Gyratory, Leith Street and North Bridge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The March for Independence will travel down the Royal Mile towards the Scottish Parliament before the rally congregates at Calton Hill.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Never miss the latest top headlines from the Scottish Daily Express.
