Rabid nationalists will flock to Edinburgh on Saturday to attend a rally promoting breaking up the UK – with the First Minister a special guest speaker at the event.\"An<\/p>\n

Edinburgh motorists face road chaos on Saturday due to several road closures caused by a pro-independence march being led by John Swinney. According to organisers “several thousands” will flock to the Capital to rally to break up the UK, ahead of the Holyrood Election.<\/a><\/p>\n

Since being elected SNP leader, Mr Swinney has not attended any Scexit march and is doing so now, coincidentally just six weeks before Scots head to the polls.<\/a> He is trying to persuade people that a majority win for his party will lead to the UK Government granting a second referendum, even though he has no evidence for this.<\/p>\n

The annual Believe in Scotland march will go ahead, organised by failed businessman Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp<\/a>, who placed himself higher on the speaker list than Hollywood actor Brian Cox. Despite living in America and having no plans to move to Scotland, he still wants to break up the UK.<\/p>\n

According to the event listing there will be singers, poets, folk and Gaelic musicians and a “reading in Scots.” The marchers will start gathering from 11:30 a.m. on the Royal Mile<\/a> by Parliament Square, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Soar Alba Pipes and Drums will lead the march down the Royal Mile, with the rally taking place on Calton Hill.<\/p>\n

Mr Swinney<\/a> is the headline speaker and will be joined by the afore-mentioned Cox, broadcaster Lesley Riddoch and Scottish Greens co-leaders Gillian Mackay and Ross Greer. It will be hosted by presenter Alistair Heather, who used to work for ousted MP John Nicolson, and has fronted taxpayer-funded ad campaigns.<\/p>\n

Humza Yousaf’s good friend, human rights lawyer Aamer Anwar, will also speak, alongside musician Kevin Gore and “Scots Scriever” Taylor Dyson. But for everyone else trying to get about Edinburgh on Saturday, there will be mass disruption on many city centre streets.<\/p>\n
