Leeds United<\/a> are going to hope we can keep our noses in front of the three sides below us in the coming weeks. Spurs, meanwhile, may be staring down the barrel with Sean Dyche in the frame.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The international break can often be seen as a positive and negative for teams ahead of the run-in. On the one hand, you hope to welcome players back from injury. On the other, some players may come back from international duty with new setbacks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leeds\u2019 break comes off the back of strengthening our position in the relegation scrap with a four-point gap to West Ham<\/a>. Meanwhile, Spurs<\/a> are left to mull over a bleak day<\/a> against Nottingham Forest<\/a>, thumped 3-0 on home turf.<\/p>\n

Spurs consider stunning Sean Dyche appointment to replace Igor Tudor<\/p>\n

Losing 3-0 at home to a relegation rival is perhaps the lowest Spurs have sunk this season. Igor Tudor<\/a> is still winless in the league. But, the North London club\u2019s Premier League winless run extends well beyond that, yet to win in 2026.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, it leaves Tudor\u2019s position looking incredibly frail. Brought in with a previous track record of steadying relegation-troubled sides in Europe, he\u2019s had no leeway to settle in at Spurs, needing results immediately.<\/p>\n

Now, the Telegraph<\/a> report that Tudor could be dismissed soon. Not only that, but there\u2019s a staggering update on his replacement too, as they report that Sean Dyche<\/a> could be lined up.<\/p>\n

Dyche has been out of work since leaving Forest last month. His departure came off the back of a woeful run of form left the Reds sliding towards the drop too. A stumbling block for Dyche is that while he\u2019d be viewed as a short-term firefighter by Spurs, he\u2019s unlikely to want a contract merely for seven games.<\/p>\n

Tudor\u2019s position at Spurs is expected to be decided by Monday. As a result, a replacement may be sought with a fortnight before they\u2019re next in action. While Leeds and West Ham meet in the FA Cup, Spurs are next in action away to Sunderland on April 12th.<\/p>\n

Leeds United stability much more comforting than Spurs\u2019 ongoing managerial turmoil<\/p>\n

There has to be some credit given to the 49ers and Farke for instilling so much calm in the midst of everyone below us imploding at some stage this season.<\/p>\n

That stability can be a massive difference-maker when we\u2019re looking to maintain good performances. Spurs, though, could be looking at their third manager. A manager who has already failed embarrassingly with a good squad in this relegation battle in 2026.<\/p>\n

Based on what Dyche did at Forest, I can\u2019t see how this would be a good appointment. Dyche\u2019s methods wouldn\u2019t work with a group of players who simply lack the fight to stay in this league.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s clear is that we have a huge opportunity to stay in this league by simply doing our job.<\/p>\n
