morning, the Palais Princier de Monaco shared a photograph and video of the moment <a class=\"hm-link he-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomagazine.com\/tags\/princess-charlene\/\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"article-body-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Princess Charlene of Monaco<\/a> and <a class=\"hm-link he-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomagazine.com\/tags\/prince-albert\/\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"article-body-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prince Albert II of Monaco<\/a> greeted the Pope upon his arrival at the Monaco Heliport.<\/p>\n<p id=\"evfvfrfYUF\" data-wc=\"28\">&#8220;His Holiness Pope Leo XIV in Monaco,&#8221; the caption read, alongside one image marking the start of what was described as a &#8220;historic apostolic visit to the Principality&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"eSqpaWC3FV\" data-wc=\"17\">A brief handshake took place between the royal couple and the Pope as the visit got underway.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"e2-aRjk-y6\" data-wc=\"19\">Charlene, 48, wowed in an all-white ensemble consisting of a white midi dress, a belted coat and coordinating heels.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"e354ms9NqM\" data-wc=\"29\">Shortly after arriving, a welcome ceremony took place at the Prince&#8217;s Palace of Monaco, where the Pope was introduced to Princess Gabriella Monaco, the Pope will take part in an official reception, hold meetings, join moments of prayer and celebrate a public Mass at the Stade Louis II.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ee__5muIXh\" data-wc=\"27\">The visit marks a particularly significant moment in Monaco&#8217;s history, with this being the first apostolic journey by a Pope to the Principality in the modern era.<\/p>\n<p id=\"eydkBmHksp\"
