Electrics<\/p>\n<p>Situated in the city&#8217;s Charing Cross, the independent shop has since built up an excellent reputation in the local area.<\/p>\n<p>But after more than four decades in business, it is understood that owner Arvad Singh has decided it&#8217;s time to sell up and retire.<\/p>\n<p>Locals have taken to Reddit to praise Mr Singh &#8211; hailing him a &#8220;true legend&#8221; and a &#8220;fixer extraordinaire&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>In a bid to find a way of thanking him for his service to the community, one Redditor wrote: &#8220;40 years serving his local community. Fixer extraordinaire and stalwart of St George\u2019s Road. He\u2019s selling up and retiring. Just thinking it\u2019s sad if he just locks up one night and goes. What can we do to thank him? True legend and always says hello. He and his business will be deeply missed. Enjoy your retirement Mr Singh, it is well earned&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>A third said: &#8220;Happy retirement Mr Singh. I will always remember you fondly.
