Mohamed Salah has uploaded a new picture to Instagram of himself looking at his trophy cabinet. The 33-year-old abruptly confirmed his Liverpool exit<\/a> for the end of the season earlier this week in an emotional video.<\/p>\n Given his performances over the last 12 months, Salah has faced some criticism<\/a> but his latest social media post is a clear reminder of exactly what he has achieved at Anfield<\/a>. In that photo is a Champions League<\/a> trophy, with it possible the Egypt international could be playing in that competition for the final time over the coming months.<\/p>\n That is because of talk of a mega-money switch to Saudi Arabia<\/a> ahead of the 2026\/27 season. One possible destination that has seemingly been ruled out is the MLS. David Beckham’s Inter Miami franchise were the US side credited with a purported interest in Salah, but this appears to be unlikely.<\/p>\n However, Salah will be in the USA, Canada and Mexico this summer as he will be skippering Egypt in the World Cup. His country are in Group G with Belgium, Iran and New Zealand.<\/p>\n At present, it’s a possibility Salah will wait until after the World Cup to make a decision on his next move. When it comes to Arne Slot’s side’s next move with regard to replacing the Egyptian, that is also up in the air.<\/p>\n Legendary Reds midfielder Steven Gerrard<\/a> recently suggested West Ham captain and England international Jarrod Bowen may be an option, but also cast doubt on whether he is up to the task of filling Salah’s boots. The Champions League winner said: “I really like Bowen.<\/p>\n “I think he is a top player but I am not sure he is Salah\u2019s level to replace him.
