{"id":857497,"date":"2026-03-29T04:40:33","date_gmt":"2026-03-29T04:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/857497\/"},"modified":"2026-03-29T04:40:33","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T04:40:33","slug":"stanningley-park-rose-beds-replanted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/857497\/","title":{"rendered":"Stanningley Park rose beds replanted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The rose beds in Stanningley Park have been replenished thanks to a blooming generous \u00a3200 donation.<\/p>\n<p>Forty new roses with mixed colours have been planted by Leeds City Council\u2019s Parks and Green Spaces service.<\/p>\n<p>This planting coincides with Bramley Baths\u2019 Community Builder, Alaina Dunne, assembling some budding green-fingered volunteers last weekend to plant community orchards at Stanningley Park and Bramley Fall Woods.<\/p>\n<p>The donation comes through Members Improvements in the Community and Environment (MICE) scheme from Bramley &amp; Stanningley councillors Kevin Ritchie, Tom Hinchcliffe and Adele Rae.<\/p>\n<p>Cllr Ritchie said<strong>:<\/strong> \u201cIt was a pleasure to fund the new rose beds and attend the planting of the orchards.
