Manchester United<\/a> are reportedly being given the chance to sign Barcelona forward Ferran Torres<\/a> amid continued uncertainty about Marcus Rashford\u2019s future. You can also join our United Facebook page by clicking HERE<\/a> and don’t miss out on our brilliant selection of newsletters HERE.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n It has been reported by TEAMtalk that Torres could become a target for United this summer thanks to the La Liga club\u2019s latest stance.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Manuel Ugarte sends message to Phil Foden after Man United star involved in yellow card controversy<\/a>READ MORE: Ruben Amorim takes up new sport with Man City chief after Man United sack<\/a><\/p>\n The report claims that Barcelona are looking to navigate their finances for another summer transfer window, which may include allowing some players to leave in order to fund the signings of new stars.<\/p>\n As a result, it has been claimed that Torres has been \u201coffered\u201d to United as Barcelona look to try and bring Rashford to the Camp Nou for another season.<\/p>\n Barcelona have the option to sign Rashford for \u20ac30million (\u00a326million), but various reports have suggested that the Spanish club have explored the possibility of signing the United star on loan for another year.<\/p>\n As a result, the report claims that Barcelona have presented the option of United signing Torres, 26, which may allow the Reds to be more lenient in allowing Rashford to leave on another loan, if the opportunity presents itself.<\/p>\n Torres already has experience of playing in Manchester, having spent two years at the Etihad Stadium<\/a> with Manchester City<\/a> before his return to Spain back in 2022.<\/p>\n United are reported to be \u201cintrigued\u201d by the offer from Barcelona about signing Torres, but it remains to be seen what decision the player and the Reds would make if such a deal became a reality.<\/p>\n Torres has enjoyed an impressive season at Barcelona this season, scoring 16 goals across all competitions, which has helped the club reach the quarter-final of the Champions League<\/a> and have a four-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga standings.<\/p>\n Rashford has previously made it clear that he would like to remain at Barcelona beyond the length of his current loan deal.<\/p>\n “[I want to stay for] as many [seasons] as possible. We will see,\u201d Rashford told TNT Sports back in October.<\/p>\n “I have to focus on trying to do my job and trying to help the team in whichever way I can.”<\/p>\n He added: “I’m learning a lot, it’s a new style of football. But it’s making me a better player. Honestly, it’s an amazing experience.
