POP superstar Lorde is heading to Glasgow for a massive gig at the OVO Hydro later this year.<\/p>\n

The Royals singer, 28, will take to the stage on November 19 as part of her Ultrasound World Tour.<\/p>\n

It comes as the New Zealand-born star gears up to release her first album in four years, Virgin, on June 27.<\/p>\n

Lorde will kick off her tour in the US, before hitting Paris<\/a> and Luxembourg and then landing in the UK<\/a> for shows in Manchester<\/a>, London<\/a>, and Glasgow. <\/p>\n

She\u2019ll wrap up the UK leg in Birmingham<\/a> the next night.<\/p>\n

Support acts for the Glasgow gig include indie rocker Nilufer Yanya and US singer-songwriter Jim-E Stack.<\/p>\n

Scots fans flocked to social media<\/a> to express their delight at the announcement. <\/p>\n

One wrote: “If I don\u2019t get tickets<\/a> for Lorde Glasgow I will be so mad. I’ve been a diehard fan for years.”<\/p>\n

Another said: “Lorde is coming to Glasgow. This is not a drill.” <\/p>\n

Tickets go on presale at 10am on Thursday, May 14.<\/p>\n

And the general sale will start at 10am on Friday, May 15. <\/p>\n

Prices range from \u00a347.90 to \u00a3126.25. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, elsewhere America rock band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are also coming to Scotland<\/a> for an exciting anniversary tour.<\/p>\n
