A massive emergency services response at a car wash was sparked by two staff members falling ill from sweets, it is understood.<\/p>\n

Police, paramedics and fire crews all attended at Super Wash and Super Tyres on Stockport<\/a> Road in Longsight<\/a> yesterday evening (Saturday, March 28).<\/p>\n

It is believed the incident was initially treated as a suspected poisoning. The Manchester Evening News understands two people ate some sweets apparently given to them by a customer.<\/p>\n

Paramedics assessed the pair and they were taken to hospital as a precaution.<\/p>\n

The garage forecourt was taped off with emergency services spotted donning hazmat suits as they tried to determine what they had ingested.<\/p>\n

Fire engines and ambulances were also seen parked at the scene.<\/p>\n

The M.E.N understands there is now a suggestion it was THC or cannabis sweets which caused the people to feel sick.<\/p>\n
