Police today issued a fresh appeal for the public’s help to find a missing woman aged 73.<\/p>\n

The force, in a fresh statement on Sunday, urged residents to check gardens, sheds, garages and other outbuildings as a major search operation continues.<\/p>\n

Named by GMP only as Jennifer, the force said it remained ‘extremely concerned for her welfare’. She doesn’t have a mobile phone and may be ‘very disorientated’, said the appeal.<\/p>\n

The police have launched an urgent appeal to find a missing woman from Salford<\/a>, Greater Manchester, who was last seen in the early hours of Saturday morning (March 28).<\/p>\n

Jennifer was last seen at 3.12am on Saturday morning on Manchester Road, Walkden<\/a>, Salford.<\/p>\n

Police have shared a description of her, as well as a means of getting in contact if anyone has any information.<\/p>\n

No surname has been released.<\/p>\n

Jennifer is described as white, approximately 5ft 8in tall and slim. When she was last seen, she was wearing light-coloured trousers, a cardigan and slip-on trainers.<\/p>\n

In a new statement, GMP said: “We are now entering day two since Jennifer was last seen, and we remain extremely concerned for her welfare. Jennifer does not have a phone and may be very disorientated.<\/p>\n

“We are urging members of the public to please check your gardens, sheds, garages and any outbuildings.<\/p>\n

“Also look around any nearby green spaces, alleyways or areas she may have sought shelter.<\/p>\n

“If you have doorbell or CCTV footage, or any dashcam recordings, please review anything from 3am yesterday onwards. Every extra check counts.”<\/p>\n
