Victoria Beckham shared a touching message for her Spice Girls band mate Geri Horner<\/a> following the cancellation of their previously planned reunion.<\/p>\n

Posh, 51, shared an image alongside Geri, 53, posting on Instagram<\/a> as they stepped out to show their support for Cruz Beckham<\/a> and his band The Breakers as they played their final gig in London on Friday, March 27. The snap saw the pair grinning as they wore matching white t-shirts to attend the show.<\/p>\n

Victoria wrote across the post: \u201cLast night! @cruzbeckham @itsthebreakers. Love you @gerihalliwellhorner.\u201d The two women were also seen posing with Victoria’s husband, David Beckham<\/a>, as they enjoyed Cruz’s music.<\/p>\n

The reunion follows news that the Spice Girls\u2019 planned 30th anniversary reunion has been cancelled after they failed to get the plans in place in time. Victoria and Geri and the rest of the band, Mel C, Mel B and Emma Bunton were previously in talks to reunite and perform a string of concerts which would have celebrated three decades since the release of their debut single Wannabe.<\/p>\n

Speaking during an interview on The Smallzy Show on Australia<\/a> \u2019s KIIS Radio, Mel C, 52, confirmed the news saying: \u201cNo, there is no reunion. We are communicating all the time. We want to do something \u2013 who knows when.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I still feel very optimistic and I keep my fingers crossed that you will see the Spice Girls together at some point in the future.\u201d It was previously reported by The Sun that Geri had even been in touch with the band\u2019s former manager Simon Fuller and jetted to Miami to try and agree on a deal for the reunion.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, even in January, Mel C had said discussions about the reunion were ongoing. Victoria also sparked more hope among fans after she claimed she she \u201cloves\u201d the idea of a residency for the band at Las Vegas venue Sphere. She said in October: \u201cIt would be tempting. But could I take on a world<\/a> tour? No I can\u2019t. I have a job\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cHow good would the Spice Girls be at the Sphere! I love the idea of it. I mean I don\u2019t know if I could even still sing, I mean I was never that great!\u201d But all of the plans have now been scrapped with just a collectible coin from the Royal Mint being announced to mark the anniversary.<\/p>\n

While a Netflix<\/a> drama based on the band had been planned, that was also shelved last month after reports of tensions between the girls. The Spice Girls last performed together as a five-piece during the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.<\/p>\n

They also toured together without Victoria in 2019 performing a 13-date sold-out stadium tour of the UK and Ireland, selling 700,000 tickets and making \u00a34.4m each.<\/p>\n
