Check it out below.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"post-content-read-more\">\n<li><strong>READ MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/reviews\/album\/sorry-anywhere-but-here-review-domino-3317640\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sorry \u2013 \u2018Anywhere But Here\u2019 review: unpredictability still reigns on more polished second effort<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Marking their first new music in 2025, the track follows <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/listen-to-sorrys-menacing-new-single-waxwing-3804088\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Waxwing\u2019, shared at the end of last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the same minimalist vein as \u2018Waxwing\u2019, the track is built around an eerie bassline as vocalist Asha Lorenz rapidly sings: \u201cArrest me\/I\u2019m a hot freak\/I\u2019m bombastique\/I\u2019m making modern music\/In Spain\/I\u2019m on the jet plane.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It also includes a sample of Guided By Voices\u2019 1994 hit \u2018Hot Freaks\u2019, contributing to the disorientating aura.<\/p>\n<p>Sorry have once again teamed up with FLASHA Productions (Asha Lorenz &amp; Flo Webb) for the music video, which sees them explore \u201cthe worst of internet culture\u201d, per a press release. Check it out below.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Next month, Sorry will be heading on a UK and Ireland tour, which kicks off on May 1 in Bristol. In\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/reviews\/album\/sorry-anywhere-but-here-review-domino-3317640\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a four-star review<\/a>,\u00a0NME shared: \u201c\u2018Anywhere But Here\u2019 might feel heavy-hearted, and a sliver of Sorry\u2019s edge might have been diluted in their bid for accessibility. But, at its core, the record continues the thing that made them so exciting in the first place \u2013 chaotic, brilliant curveballs that capture the confusion and commotion of life right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the release of the LP, the band hinted about what was coming next\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/sorry-share-poppy-new-single-let-the-lights-on-new-album-interview-3267111\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in an interview with\u00a0<\/a>NME.\u00a0\u201cWe have some ideas about the future, and me and Louis have been recording lots of other shit, both together and separately,\u201d Lorenz said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we\u2019re going to put some more stuff out quite quickly, but we\u2019re also looking to make some more stripped-back [music], going back to how we worked before, producing it ourselves and getting a great mixer in or something.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Sorry have shared a menacing new single \u2018Jetplane\u2019.
