The three previous acquisitions were unified under the BTG Eddisons brand in February.

Market consolidation continues

The property auction sector has seen increased merger and acquisition activity as firms seek scale advantages. The combined entity will bring approximately 350 lots to market each month, covering residential and commercial properties, as well as land and development opportunities.

Andrew Parker, Partner and Auctioneer at BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, said: “The addition of Network Auctions further strengthens our offering to a diverse client base, including businesses, private individuals, local authorities and other public sector bodies seeking to unlock value from surplus assets.”

He added that operating under a single national brand would enable the firm to deliver greater reach and resources to clients, while Network Auctions would benefit from access to BTG’s wider financial and real estate services.

Integration strategy

Toby Limbrick, Director of Network Auctions, said the acquisition would provide the company with a platform for expansion whilst maintaining existing client relationships. “It means we can offer our clients greater reach, more resource and access to a broader range of buyers, while still delivering the same personal service,” Limbrick stated.

The consolidation of the auction businesses forms part of the wider rebrand of Begbies Traynor Group to BTG. Eddisons, the Leeds-headquartered property consultancy acquired by the group 11 years ago, has also been renamed BTG Eddisons under the changes.

The restructuring comes as the property market faces evolving conditions, with firms seeking operational efficiencies through consolidation. BTG Eddisons now operates across multiple regions including London, the North West, East Midlands, and Yorkshire, serving both private and public sector clients.

Network Auctions has been acquired by BTG Eddisons and rebranded as BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, creating one of…

[7757
748,245351,393,4884,257,6316,245352,35715,16,15
0":"post-862048","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-london","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-btg-eddisons","10":"tag-england","11":"tag-great-britain","12":"tag-london","13":"tag-mergers-and-acquisitions","14":"tag-network-auctions","15":"tag-property-auctions","16":"tag-uk","17":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
