The world No 2 has had a busy time since claiming victory on the Augusta course, and is looking forward to returning to his usual routine.<\/p>\n
Since winning the Masters, he has defended his Zurich Classic title alongside Shane Lowry, as well as completing substantial media duties in New York. <\/p>\n
McIlroy is clearly relieved to be free from the \u2018burden\u2019 of pursuing a career Grand Slam. <\/p>\n
The star is preparing for the upcoming US PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, a place where the grand slam winner has triumphed four times before.<\/p>\n
“I’m obviously going to feel more comfortable and a lot less pressure, and I’m also going back to a venue that I love,” McIlroy expressed about the upcoming major. <\/p>\n
“It’s nothing but positive vibes going in there next week with what happened a few weeks ago and then with my history there and how well I’ve played at Quail.<\/p>\n
