When asked if there&#8217;s a price to being <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/karan\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Karan<\/a> Johar, the director-producer admitted that while his life looks fulfilling on the surface, there is an emotional void he still feels deeply.\u201cI don\u2019t think so, I think there\u2019s&#8230; no downside.I mean, how dare I have a downside? Look at my life\u2014I\u2019m recognized, I\u2019m acknowledged. Even if I\u2019m hated, I\u2019m still known,\u201d Johar said. \u201cI know no matter what I do, I won\u2019t just be a footnote in Indian cinema. I\u2019ll be a little more than that. It has already happened.\u201dBut when the host asked if he had to make any sacrifices to get where he is today, Karan opened up about the one area in his life that feels incomplete: love.\u201cMaybe I would have loved to have had a personal life. I don\u2019t have one. I wish I could be in a relationship. I\u2019m not in a relationship,\u201d he revealed. \u201cIt\u2019s tough to trust easily. That\u2019s one thing I regret in my life. Karan clarified that it wasn\u2019t his choice to begin with.\u201cMy birth name was Rahul Kumar Johar. But on the seventh day, my mother changed it. She woke up and said, \u2018I don\u2019t want the name Rahul.
