British broadcasting legend Vanessa Feltz has given a brutal four-word verdict of Meghan Markle<\/a>‘s eight-part Netflix<\/a> series, With Love, Meghan. Following the release of the series<\/a>, as well as Meghan’s new podcast and brand launch<\/a>, Vanessa put together a spoof of the Netflix<\/a> show on YouTube – with a budget of almost nothing.<\/p>\n

Daily Express columnist Vanessa<\/a> said: “It’s doing colossal business. We’re almost at the stage where With Love, Vanessa has more views than Meghan<\/a>‘s show and she got paid \u00a380million. I’ve been paid nil. I’m doing it with a piece of old string, Sellotape, some Hula Hoops and a Bag for Life.” Vanessa added: “It’s good-natured. I don’t name her. I’m not trying to insult her at all.”<\/p>\n

Hosting in a pink gingham dress, Vanessa, 63, jokingly uses words that are favoured by Meghan, 43, such as “joyful” and “elevating”.<\/p>\n

Despite having her own lunchtime show, Vanessa said that, instead of talking about Meghan’s show, she would recreate her own.<\/p>\n

She said: “I saw the first episode of With Love, Meghan and I thought, ‘Oh gosh.’ Then I thought, ‘Instead of talking about it, I’ll just make one’.” Discussing Meghan’s decision to do a series, Vanessa gave a brutal four-word verdict, saying, “She’s definitely cashing in.”<\/p>\n

Sharing her thoughts on that, she added: “But is there anything wrong with that? I don’t think so, after all people don’t have to buy her expensive dresses or cashmere jumpers.”<\/p>\n

Speaking of her opinion of Meghan, she added: “I don’t hate or despise her, I’m not one of her denigrators, but it’s as if no one explained, ‘You married Prince Harry<\/a>. You’re the Duchess of Sussex now, this means you’re in one of the most exalted positions on Earth. So you don’t need to do a show in which you put pretzels in a bag and tie a bow on it.’ That’s the sort of thing you do when you’re not married to a prince of the realm.”<\/p>\n

She claims that she believes Meghan misunderstood her role as a member of the Royal Family, adding: “Meghan didn’t seem to appreciate her own new place in the pecking order, which was so high that George and Amal Clooney \u2013 who clearly don’t know her \u2013 would come to the wedding.”<\/p>\n
