(Instagram\/ Sameera Reddy)    On being a busy mom and working on her fitness<\/p>\n<p>Sameera shared that she had &#8216;failed many times before&#8217;, but now her focus was on &#8216;ageing well&#8217; and being strong &#8216; rather than just trying to be skinny&#8217;. Sameera said, \u201cIt actually started when I realised that constantly yo-yoing with my weight wasn\u2019t sustainable. I was trying to balance work, family, and <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/yoga-for-sustainable-weight-loss-10-best-asanas-to-practice-every-day-for-shedding-flab-101713414904503.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"yoga\" rel=\"noopener\">yoga<\/a>, but even with discipline, life would get overwhelming, especially as a busy mom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>      \u2018There are no restrictions like cutting out carbs\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The mother-of-two shared that she follows a balanced diet with \u2018no extreme restrictions\u2019, focusing on <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/healthy-eating-do-we-need-portion-control-a-nutritionist-on-tips-to-eat-right-101662364658986.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"portion control\" rel=\"noopener\">portion control<\/a> and matching her food intake to her training intensity.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cAt 46, I realise that extreme diets and yo-yo weight loss aren\u2019t the solution.
