It comes as the region faces gusty winds on April 3, with some wind advisories in effect through Saturday, April 4, according to the National Weather Service.<\/p>\n
The fast-moving Springs Fire east of Moreno Valley grew to 2,848 acres as of 3:20 p.m., according to Cal Fire. It was first reported at about 11 a.m., and the fire has prompted evacuation orders and road closures in the area, reported the Desert Sun<\/a>, which is part of the USA TODAY Network.<\/p>\n Far northwest of that fire is one in Los Angeles County called the Crown Fire.<\/p>\n The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported around 2 p.m. that firefighters are on scene of a brush fire at North Crown Valley Road and Soledad Canyon Road in Acton. It\u2019s at 280 acres “with a low rate of spread,” and evacuation orders and warnings have been issued, the L.A. County Fire Department said.<\/p>\n The L.A. County Fire Department said firefighters arrived at the brush fire at 11:23 a.m., with the blaze at approximately 80 acres then.<\/p>\n The Crown Fire was reported to be 20% contained per the latest containment status, the L.A. County Fire Department said in an email to USA TODAY just after 3:30 p.m. There have been no reported injuries or damage to structures, the L.A.
