Flowers at the scene in Icknield Street, Hockley, after the death of a nine-year-old girl<\/p>\n

Flowers have been left at the scene of a crash where a nine-year-old girl died in Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The blooms were attached to a railing in Icknield Street, Hockley, near the spot where a two-car collision tragically claimed the life of the child on Thursday night (April 2)<\/p>\n

A woman and two other children were with the victim in the car and taken to hospital.<\/p>\n

Two men in a BMW were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.<\/p>\n

An update is expected from West Midlands Police<\/a> regarding the two men who were arrested shortly.<\/p>\n

The identity of the girl has not been published while officers currently support the victim’s family.<\/p>\n

Today, April 5, flowers were left at the scene of the crash with a note.<\/p>\n

It reads: “Heartfelt sympathy. They are at peace.<\/p>\n

“We can never prepare for the grief of losing someone so special.”<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police is seeking anyone who witnessed the collision or those with doorbell\/dashcam footage to come forward.<\/p>\n
