She suffered a heart attack and, despite CPR, died days later.<\/p>\n<p>Catherine Ditchburn, Mortemore\u2019s daughter, said: \u201cWe live with a mixture of anger and upset at what happened to our mum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe couldn\u2019t really believe what was going on at the time, she was deteriorating so quickly that her getting better was our priority, but some of the things that happened in that hospital will live with us forever.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was just a catalogue of errors, as if our mum didn\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMum was highly allergic to <a class=\"ck-custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/medicines\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">penicillin<\/a> and there were warnings everywhere \u2013 she had her own bracelet, the hospital gave her a wristband, it was on the board, in her medical notes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey didn\u2019t even apologise when they told us what had happened.
