It would be significant to have him back for some key Premier League ties this month, as well as the Champions League quarter-final second leg next week.

On the other hand, there was no sign of Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber, Martin Odegaard, Piero Hincapie, Riccardo Calafiori, or Mikel Merino.

That doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t fit, as they may have simply had this session off, or they might have joined it late, after the stream ended. But given all of them were injury doubts prior to the live stream, it’s not a particularly good sign.

<img decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" loading="lazy" src="https://www.europesays.com/uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/GettyImages-2262981192-1024x683.jpg" alt="LONDON, ENGLAND - FEBRUARY 22: Eberechi Eze of Arsenal celebrates scoring his team's first goal during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on February 22, 2026 in London, England.
