The most popular areas will be considered as part of Aldi\u2019s ongoing commitment to expand its presence in the UK.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The supermarket currently has more than 1,050 stores and remains committed to its long-term goal of operating more than 1,500 UK stores. At least 18 of these stores are in the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"LiverpoolLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool<\/a> area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Jonathan Neale, Managing Director of National Real Estate at Aldi UK, said: \u201cWe\u2019ve always believed that great quality food should be within everyone\u2019s reach and many communities would therefore still benefit from having an Aldi nearby.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cWe\u2019re always looking at key places where we see potential, but we also want to hear directly from the public about where the demand is greatest. Their input is invaluable as we continue to grow and bring Aldi\u2019s unbeatable value to more areas across Britain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">To nominate a town or area for consideration, customers are invited to email: NextNewStore@aldi.co.uk and simply state the town they would like to put forward in the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/aldi\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Aldi Link opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Aldi <\/a>is asking for submissions by Sunday, June 8.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Aldi will review all submissions, and the most popular locations will be added to the shortlist for consideration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">However, the decision to open new stores will depend on several factors, including local demand and property availability.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" share the results and unveil the next round of priority locations later this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Aldi ran a similar initiative last year, which saw new <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/shopping\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"shopping Link opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">shopping <\/a>locations in London, Manchester and Derbyshire recognised as priority locations among customers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">In the coming months, new stores will open in areas such as Ashford in Kent, Eastbourne in Sussex, as well as Caterham in Surrey, as part of its focus on expanding in the South East.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Progress has already been made to bring a new store near Chesterfield in Derbyshire, with Aldi recently securing planning for a site on Ringwood Road, Brimington.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Aldi said: \u201cThis initiative is part of Aldi\u2019s broader strategy to expand its footprint and ensure more communities benefit
